Our Firm

The law firm of Vernick & Associates, LLC is a boutique litigation practice located in Annapolis, Maryland with an active practice in all state and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. We focus on the representation of health care providers and attorneys. Our practice focuses in the areas of defending medical and legal malpractice cases, medical and attorney license and discipline proceedings, general health care law, and nursing care cases. Due to the litigation experience of the attorneys in the practice, we also represent plaintiffs in personal injury and accident suits.

Vernick & Associates utilizes a team approach in our litigation practice that provides every client with high-level legal representation. The team assigned to each case will remain consistent throughout the litigation to enable the client to access any member of the team instead of having uncertainty as to who is working on the client’s case at any point in time. The team includes a senior partner, associate, paralegal and legal assistant who will be available to the client throughout the litigation. This hierarchy allows for an economical utilization of legal talent contingent upon the task or assignment.

Client relations are a fundamental firm directive. In addition to the availability of team members to respond to and discuss case related issues, the firm also provides adjunct legal services. These services include seminars, conferences, protocol and procedure analysis and drafting, and newsletters to keep clients up to date on new developments in their particular fields and also to identify, recognize and correct individual and institutional issues or practices that may result in future litigation or legal issues. Through these services firm clients have a reduced risk of being involved in litigation in the future.
